Yearbook - Briefing

Following the decisions made for who will be doing what yearbook, we had a briefing to go through what we will be needing to so and what not. We also got given a guidelines sheet for us to follow (wish we would have got this before they gave us the initial yearbook brief!). Here's the notes that I made from the briefing.

Come up with some ideas prior to the initial meeting with the course to start off the discussion of what will be wanted and needed.

Come up with a range of deadlines between group to work towards and put these forward for discussion.

Do as much research as possible.

This is a professional relationship.

Focus on content and layout for now - forget print finishes, etc.

Think about context before making decisions on format for option 2

  • fold downs to be considered first
  • pdf?
  • low cost - got to be cheap and mass produced
