Where we are at so far with the posters is coming on really well, although a lot of the quotes that we do have in the list are conversations between characters. We have been trying to work out how we could represent these without compromising the design of the posters. The first thought is the spacing between each sentence from the characters.
Doesn't sit right this though on the page so not really keen on it. Another thought is to have dots that would go against the names at the top and then repeated next to each sentence to represent who says what.
Considering the top of the posters though where the film title is, we had a thought to change these slightly from not actually using the film titles, but to replace words in them with type so that they are more relevant to the poster content. Here's what we ended up deciding on.
This is a nice twist that I think works really well. We also discussed how the quotes then could be what could be said from a designer and/or client, so instead of using the characters names from the films we will use these instead. With these now changed accordingly, we then went back to trying out if the dots works.
We decided to keep the dot that represents what the designer would say as one dot, and this will also be applied across all of the posters, whether it is a conversation or not - to keep them visually consistent. We also did another quote using the dots and new information now to make sure that it works.
