I'm glad that I have taken a step back as I now don't think the actual cup shapes that I have done works very good. Below right is what I had, and I have edited it a bit and got to the one on the left, which works a lot better I reckon.
Started adding the lines. Decided to reverse everything around for now to the opposite of what I was working on with the black background so that they work on white background while I make changes.
I think they work quite well this way around too. Something to keep in mind. Below shows the difference between the ones I ended up with last night and the ones I have edited them to now - the edited ones now look way loads better.
