Starting to think and note down possible information to include in the book that I might do. The main thing to do is to explain what each drink actually is, because a lot of people actually have no idea what they are asking for and just hope for the best - and usually isn't what they ask for. I could maybe give the book some sort of pun like 'avoid being the one to ask one of these stupid questions' or something. So, using my knowledge of working at Costa for 4 years, I'm noting down information and what not for each drink that's available. And considering what alternate stuff people ask for as well to describe the drink but don't know the name.
Americano
- normal coffee
- straight forward black coffee
- black coffee you can add milk to
- black coffee
- closest to an instant coffee
- like instant coffee but proper
- white coffee
Latte
- milky coffee
- one that has flavoured syrups in
Cappuccino
- frothy coffee
- one with chocolate on top
Mocha
- hot chocolate with coffee
- chocolatey coffee
Espresso
- a shot of coffee
- pure coffee
- just coffee
- strongest coffee you can get
Flat White
- velvety coffee
- stronger but sweeter coffee
- smooth
- stronger than a latte and smoother than a cappuccino
